Gas Boiler and Repair Service

1. Cleaning of the inside of the boiler and a visual check of all the boiler components.
2. Testing of gas pipes to ensure there are no leaks
3. Combustion test to ensure safe operation of the boiler.
4. RGI certificate at completion of service.

Additional Services

The Appliance Doctor is more than happy to deal with other issues  such as radiators not heating, faulty motorised valves, pressure loss, cold spots on radiators and replacing radiator valves, etc.

Gas Fire Services

1. Cleaning of fire.
2. Changing of parts as per manufacturers instructions as part of service.
3. Smoke test on flue to ensure it is operating correctly.
4. Any other tests as required by manufacturers instructions.
5. RGI certificate.

Gas Cookers

Installation and commissioning of new cookers done to RGI standards. Repairs.

Oil Boiler Service and Repairs

1. Clean out boiler and baffles.

2. Strip down burner.

3. Clean electrodes.

4. Change nozzle.

5. Clean blast tube.

6. Clean fuel filters on pump and fuel line.

7. Check all electrical fittings.

8. Check pump pressure.

9. Check overall condition of boiler.

10. Carry out a combustion analysis test.

If any additional work needs to be carried out, I will inform the customer as to what that is, how much does it cost and how urgent it is. The customer then can decide as to whether to get it done or not. If a burner cannot be repaired on site I will endeavour to fit a spare on, so the household can have heat while waiting for their own burner to be repaired.

Additional Services

Any issues that may arise such as radiators not heating, faulty motorised valves, pressure dropping can be dealt with.
